When I had my 92 RS I failed inspection because the front brakes sucked and the car would pull hard to the left. So I was driving with the rejected sticker on my window and didn't have the paperwork with me. On my way to work there was a bunch of cops doing road stops for inspection, along with a trailer setup in a parking lot to inspect the vehicles they pulled over. I got pulled over, I had no paperwork and he said if I had it at home someone could bring it down but no one was so they inspected my car. They were able to check emissions and lights but not brakes due to no skid pad. So my emissions and lights were good, so they slapped a fresh inspection sticker on
I still fixed my brakes a couple of weeks later but
I thought it was funny I got away with it at a roadside inspection
