I appreciate generally unmolested muscle. It's a piece of history. That is why I don’t begrudge the numbers matching guys, no matter how wacky & anal they get.
You can still get 'regular' firebirds & camaros of that vintage
relatively cheap. You can't go by the price of odd rarities and say all muscle cars cost too much. But they will continue to rise because they don’t make them anymore. And guys like Tim cut them up.
