Hello, I am thinking about building a 350 sbc, probably 350-400 hp. And drop a supercharger on it. Trying to keep this as budget as possible as I still have to do the rest of my drivetrain and suspension eventually.

Anyway, I want to drop a supercharger on the 350, for size and cost the weiand 142 seems to be the one. Anyone have any experience with it? I have heard its great for the price, or its a waste and I should start with the 177. Can anyone say anything about either of them?

Oh and I'll probably be running 8 - 8.25:1 CR and use less then 10 psi.
