the one thing about blackouts is that cops are a lot more likely to give you a ticket for them if you are pulled over. you are really not allowed to alter or cover any light lense on the car.
the advantage of the spray on stuff is that you can do it on the inside of the lense and just tell the cop that they are factory. odds are he isn't going to know and it will avoid the hassle and ticket you are more likley to get with a snap on cover.
