before spending any money on installing anything the first thing you do - have the block sonic tested - sonic testing is a probe connected to a thickness meter - that is slid around and up and down in a cylinder bore to test if their are any thin spots - that will end any hopes of the motor living at twice its original HP rating - its the first thing we do with any high HP adds to a block - and of coarse boring it .030 or .060 does not help -- minimal thickness is around .200 stock moms wagon motor - 4 bolts are in some cases thicker but core shift is at play - the way to do it is give it to a competent shop to check if they say its NG dont use it get another one -- jz
