I believe for Auto-Cross and Road Racing a 5 BC or larger fire extinguisher with a pressure gauge and a metal mounting bracket is required. It must be very securely mounted, ideally into metal. And I'm pretty sure you can order those from Summit, and I might have even seen those at Home Depot myself.
