At least it hit the mask. Back in the day, all you needed at an organized field was a frontal face mask and goggles. On "pirate" fields (anyone remember that term?) you at least wore goggles because it was common sense. The welts from the games on the weekend were proof of the fun you had when you showed em all to your friends at school on Monday.

I miss playing paintball.
