make sure the oil is not getting a lot of the gas ( OIL SMELLS RAW ) -- the motor will not be new long - rings might not have seated totally ( skipping ) or are un seating as happens - lots of reasons for that - just some soft run time might help --- hope it clears up soon -- jz
