Joe, I asked about the same thing for removing scratches from my hatch as well and Kevin told me there is a compound cleaner with a gritty material in the paste that has very small diamond stones inside and this s*** will take out small scratches if you were to buff them out.Just like doing the paint on a car with regular compound to remove scratches and swirls. I forget the damn name of this stuff,but I will find out again because I need this stuff for my glass hatch also.
