I think the key factor here is most people have other work done regardless of the nitrous. So most people are running around N/A with 400+ hp and being happy as a pig in *poop*.
I know I'm at the bottom of the barrel but from a dead stop with my convertor I'm a beast. Add the Nitrous ON TOP of that and it can get ugly real fast. That is where the fun comes in.
I can't tell you how many times I'll be f-ing around with someone on the parkway and they think they can almost keep up then it's like ok I've smoked you 3 times already lets put an end to this. Turn on the juice blow there doors off and watch them limp away with their tail between their legs.
Nitrous isn't a power adder that most people use on its own. It's usually above and beyond the head/cam package, or the turbo, or whatever other power adder you have. It's the end all be all to abusing someone just to rub salt in the wounds..
