I’m in the finishing stages of my t top conversion. It wasn’t all of that bad to do. It is intimidating when you think about, or go to attempt it. Once you have the roof cut off, it’s not all that bad. Well, mainly because there is no going back, lol. It just takes time to do it. What took the longest for me was the bondo work, and sanding, and getting both sides to look the same. Then I ran into a few problems painting the t top area (dirt, fish eyes etc.) but the last attempt came out pretty good. I don’t think any body shops will do this for you. Check out a few websites on the conversion, and familiarize yourself with it. Then, get out the Dremel, and sawzall and have at it! Here is a website or two that I used that guided me through it:
