i make $100 a day doing roofing... some days when im actually doing the roofing (mainly flat roofs) they are LONG days. other days i just have to clean up the job site... and i can be done in a few hours, so it evens out.
i love my job. it gets me in shape, it teaches me a valuable trade, and the people are all 23-25 years old and fun guys.
one of my friends is a union welder... and he makes something like $42 an hour... which isnt bad at all when youre 19 years old and a fulltime student!
