Your rebate this year should be huge if you pay a lot in property taxes - I know we're getting back a lot more than we have in past years. If your gross income is $100K a year or less you get back 20% of the first $10,000 of property taxes paid. We paid $8800 in taxes last year for our little 2-bedroom/2 bathroom Colonial, so we get back $1600. Bergen County taxes FTL.
And Mike, that $300 is yours as a renter, don't split it with her. She should be getting her own rebate! Read all the stuff on this site -
