I can remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when the couple went for the 'two point conversion' at Saint Patrick's Cathedral during "Sex For Sam," which ultimately got O&A tossed off the radio back in the day. Until then, I listened to both: Howard in the morning and O&A in the evening. When the boys got booted, I listened to Howard until he went off the air. Then it was CDs and radio until the boys came back. I, too, refused to get satellite. I was still trying to make my decision when I heard that Serius may aquire XM in the future, so I'm gonna wait and see before I buy now. In the meantime, I can still get the boys for free for three hours, which covers my commute and the first two hours driving my desk.
I do agree that O&A were a lot funnier their first go around, but they definitely have their moments now, especially with Norton sitting in (When he's not off doing comedy shows). I even got WOWed once, which was cool!
On another note, I kind of miss The Radio Chick. She and her staff were good for laughs on the ride home.
