i happy to say that i started a new job today. i was very unhappy with my previous job. my friend has been working for atlantic detroit diesel for about 2 years now. hes been trying to get me to go work with him for about a year now. so i filled out the application, and before you know it they called me and hired me. today was my first and they have me training with my friend. the job is very good. all i have to do is rebuild bus engines/R+R transmissions/rebuild rears. so far its been pretty easy. i have a 90 grace period. during those 90days the company can either keep me or fire me. once i make it through the 90 days i am accepted into the union. i dont really think that im going to have a problem getting into the union. everyone seems pretty cool. and the pay is almost double what i was making. so i think today turned out pretty good. just thought i would share the good news.
