Brodeur is not washed up. Holding all of the Ranger's talent to 1 goal during regular play time is good. Holding all of the Ranger's talent to 1 shootout goal is also good.

Loosing to the Rangers, in my opinion, is ok. Let another local team have the 2 points.

As I've posted many times, this is a transition year for the Devils. Like the Rangers who just couldn't make anything work for the last 10 years, the Devils need to solidify the team roster, get used to Sutter's style and playbook, and just get some experience on the ice as a team. I hope these guys spend some time with each other off the ice as well.
