Last day at ATCO was a blast.....
For Dec 15 you could not ask for better. It was like a track rental, air was good, very little if any wind, track had bite (at least for my power level) and new bests were everywhere. I was in search of the elusive 11 sec slip....
Got 9 runs in by 1:30 and then I left, but could have easily gotten 5-6 more.

All runs were at full weight, full interior, sway bar connected on 26x11.50 r16 ET streets with skinnies up front. Generally, I dropped the clutch at 4000 or 4500 or 5000 and flat shifted from run 4 on. I think the car has 11.50's or 11.40's in it if I took the sway bar off the front and tweak on the shock setting some and played with the suspension.
My goal of an 11sec slip is achieved and now the car will be retired from drag racing. On to autox/open track and maybe a Land Speed Racing event.
But it was a great day at ATCO.
Chris
