If he wants to leave the body muddy, that's fine, but make sure the underside gets washed off and regreased, or you're gonna have lots of premature wear to deal with.

If you wanna play in the mud, you have to be prepared to deal with the follow-up stuff.

Best/easiest way to clean the bottom is to just stick a sprinkler under it for a few hours. Just more it around every so often so you know that it's getting the whole underside of the truck.
