i'm gonna say get a glass hood, and here is my logic: you're getting the car back-halved right? which is strictly business. save the weight now and save yourself money later. there is no point to repainting this hood and then wishing you got a glass hood later and then having to paint it again. its gonna make matching the colors harder later and just a flat out hassle. a steel hood weighs about 40-50#. a glass pin on is about 20#. thats a no brainer to me. get the glass now, its more cost efficient and less of a hassle.
