Makes sense to me. It is hard for a shrinking company like Chrysler (Cerberus), one that is trying to regroup, to make broadline engines that get bad mileage. The new CAFE numbers are going to kill those engines in mass market cars, and they aren’t in a position to keep making low production number stuff. They already have the Viper for that.
