I heard from a cop it's legal in the windshield, but then again on 4th gens you can't see the whole plate
I've been pulled over with it in the windshield and no one has said anything. Also at work we keep the rear plate for the shop car in the window because someone has already stolen one of the dealer plates......again, that hasn't been a problem.
