The pics look good, the video is a little rough, but video is always cool. I don't even want to see the results. There is a real good possibility I was DFL in class. Just could not get through the first couple hundred feet without the rear end of the car wanting to step out in a big way. My best run, I think, was my first run...pathetic.
Where on course were people pulling second gear? I tried various spots. Short shifting and pulling it right away, pulling second on after the hard left, but actually did best holding first almost all the way to the entry point of the optional slalom.
Was anyone else getting air-borne coming out of the skidpad and crossing that hump in the paving or when crossing the finish line and getting on the brakes?
My seventh run would have been my money run with 50.02, but I decided I was hungry and ate a cone one gate from the finish line. So on the eight run I figure do the same thing, but don't eat the cone at the end. Well, one the eigth run I ate the cone with the license plate and gave it a ride to the finish line.....so bad. Now I have to clean the cone carnage marks off the front of the chicken.
I remember one run in the morning session where I looped it heading into the optional entry slalom. I had short shifted and pulled second gear real early so I was carrying good speed throught the short sweeper up to the optional entry slalom and the car came around quick, and I remember daydreaming mid spin, thinking what the F! So I throw the clutch in, and the car is about to go around again, then I stop daydreaming and get hard on the brakes....

It was sooo bad. It was still fun. I haven't looped the car in a while, which is probably a good indication that I am not pressing hard enough.
