they will probably go easier on you, no guarantee though. get there early, like an hour. look good/clean/respectable. ask nicely since it is your 1st moving violation, for the unsafe operation. insurance should not reflect that. there are driving courses you can sit in to get points dropped too, but your insurance company still reflects them for i believe 3 years.
