All depends on your insurance if it will go up for a speeding ticket. I was going to fight a small 2 point ticket, but when I called my insurance to find out how much it would go up, they said my rate will stay the same no matter how many points I get. I just paid the ticket instead of having to pay $500 to get it dropped. It might be better if you call up insurance to ask, if its even gonna go up $100/year, thats better than paying $500 to the municipality.
