and it has to be the "right" charge, too, because the state dips in to the court's proceeds on certain tickets (not sure which ones qualify and which don't).

how'd you feel about the whole waiving your rights deal? kind of funky, eh? we spend so much time and effort knowing our rights and making sure no one tramples on them, but we waive them to avoid points on our licenses...
