Well see I got it working through a serial interface using a CSU/DSU using my T1, but I wanted to try to see if I can get it working using dual ethernet ports and a cable modem, trying to learn if it's possible using a cable modem and three static IPs. Here's what I got , see if you know how to configure it:

INTERNET -> CABLE MODEM -> ROUTER -> SWITCH -> 3 PCS (each having public IP)

Now, the router, switch, and 3 PCs are all on the same external subnet (255.255.248.0/24). Now I read online someone explained it but didin't explain how to set it up in a
Cisco router, so I had to try myself. Pretty much want those three PCs to have public-IP addresses, STATIC.

I read that you don't set an external IP to the router, you just set the subnet, and the cable modem attatches to that MAC, yet for the IPs the router just routes the traffic.

Router settings:
Cisco 3620 w/32MB flash
Dual Ethernet interface card in slot 1 (Ethernet0/0 for external, Ethernet 0/1 for Internal , plus a Serial card above
Fibre interface in slot 2 (This is used for the backbone, works fine)
