When I was a flying crew chief I got to go to edwards for the F-22 testing a few times. We were sitting on the ramp waiting for our alert(just incase one of the jets needed a refuel) and I got to see an F-16 try to keep up with an F-22 around an oval holding pattern about 15k feet up. LOL Let's just say about the 3rd time around the F-16 just cut straight across to try and catch up
