Another reason why NJ and it's corrupt police suck. Last I read in GM High Tech April 2008 there is no law stating a decibel limit. It just basically says that an exhaust system needs to be in good working order and can not have an exhaust cut out. Check it out for the exact wording.
I am still a firm believer that loud pipes save lives....
