it sucks to see that happen, but i know quite a few people that were interested in buying hondas but didn't because of theft concerns. i know a kid who bought a civic and it was stolen the day he bought it (or maybe the day after, not sure).
they're actually really expensive to modify. trust me i've helped build quite a few. hell to buy full gsr swap LEGIT is still over 3500. 3500 for 170hp...... i just don't get it. the problem is honda guy steal from their own family let alone strangers. you take that stolen gsr motor put it in a bubble or hatch with some other possibly stolen bolt ons now you got a "cheap" 200hp set up in a 2200 lb car. mid-low 14's all day. lets say you do it legit. 3000 on the low side for a b18 gsr swap. lets say another 1500 for intake header, header back exhaust and clutch. in a 2200 lb hatch you just spent 4500 to run low 14's... but like you said you get good money for honda parts. that cat is a good 150 bucks!

take that back. just found a "jdm" gsr swap for 2850 w/o shipping. still a lot for 178hp...
