One trick he may have read about at the G8 boards was to keep the trans in 3rd towards the end of the 1/4 to not allow it to shift into 4th. The car in stock form can pass the traps in 3rd and will allow the car to not lose time in the last part of the track.
I think me and him need to run since I am trapping a touch higher and he is ETing 4-100th's quicker.

His best 60' was 2.067. What's a DA? He said his car was still in 3rd even if he left it in Drive when he crossed the finish line! Also the car had sat for almost 2 hours from his last pass, so I am guessing that heat is a large factor. One of the mods will be a lower thermostat. Taking off the engine cover seems like a good idea, as it doesn't allow engine heat to escape too well.
