Bumpstops are not suspension components, that's why... they are meant to soften the impact of bottoming out the suspension to prevent damage. Polyurethane bumpstops are far too stiff for that application. In theory, an infinitely progressive spring the height of the bumpstop would be ideal, but rubber works just as well.
