Having Problems Bleeding a Hydraulic Clutch..

ok i know im posting about something very simple but this is starting to get to me...

ive been trying to bleed the hydraulic clutch and today i got pressure, but bad pressure, hard to explain, just not normal. ive been told there is still air in the system.

i gravity bled it and after no more bubbles i told my gf to pump the clutch and hold it down, i opened the bleeder screw...she felt some pressure after i closed it and she pumped. we did this about 10 or 11 times...and its the same pressure, nothings changing.

has this every happened to anyone? i checked and rechecked the lines, i havent got a chance to fasten to bolts on the slave or master yet but im sure i fastened them pretty good before i tried this.

if it helps, the master cylinder and the slave cylinder are brand new..does that play a factor? this problem is starting to piss me off..i know its so simple but its been a real pain so far..anyhelp would be greatly appreciated..thanks in advance fellas
