I put on a prothane poly mount about 2 months ago. Alot more noise from the drivetrain, and feels like stiffer shifts (a4 here). Some of the noise has gone away, but there is still alot there.

I also heard that putting on a poly tranny mount with stock rubber motor mounts is bad for the transmission. I believe it considering the shifts feel firmer, so more stress is being applied to the tranny. Im going to LTs and poly motor mounts this weekend, I'll throw in an update on the new mount feel when its done.
