That's such a ricer mentality. It's more than just handling and performance. It's the name, it's the overall quality of the car, it's the WARRANTY and dealer support.
You're failing to realize that you're taking a car(whether it be a Civic, Fbody etc) that's already built and taking parts that are already made/fabricated to make it perform better.
If you're saying that you can build a car from scratch, fabricate everything yourself and have it perform better and be as nice as a ZR1 or GTR with a warranty for 1/10th of the cost then I have some beach front property in Arizona to sell you at a really good price.
