With a 58MM on an engine that can't more that much air the larger inlet feeds in too much air at part throttle so the air/fuel calibtration goes off, and at wide open throttle it can result in less volosity. This hurts when you only have a small plenum and also throws off the metering.
I beloeve the mondo blade is 1200 CFM, you need ALLOT of engine to use something that size.
