Yeah. Targets for C7 is sub 3k lbs but better power to weight ratio. Wallace, Corvette Manager wants this car light and fit. Expect to see a size and weight difference similar to what you saw from the C5 to C6. This is how GM plans to keep Corvette within CAFE's new requirements.
So all the people that liked the idea of a V8 Solstice...2012 is your year. Only its gunna have a cross flags and bowties. It will probably introduce the direct injected Gen V smallblocks unless Camaro gets it first.
