Oh come on folks, all you need is wires, plugs, 1,000 zip ties, 4,000 bandaids and a 2-3 pints of blood!

Until I switched to the supercharger I always ran the Boosh Plat+4 plugs with zero problems. THe GM plugs have a puck that tends to fall off!

I run the Accel 300+ wires kit for the LT1s. They are 8mm and will fit into the stock loops with little modification. If you want a thicker wire then you are going to have to go OVC and some of the kits are a real PITA to install, specially if you have traction control.

I've seen two type, one kits runs the wires along side the valve cover using mounting plates that connect to the head. Nice clean install, but getting the mounts connected will exhaust all your curse words! The other kits mount to the vavle cover bolts, must easier, but I don't perfer the look, but that's just me!

If you change the wires/plugs yourself plan at least one full day! You need to remove the alternator, starter, oil filter ( sometime air pump ). And getting the wires properly connected in the clips where they wrap around the alternator bracket can be a real pain, but the #7 cylinder has got to be the biggest pain. It goes into a bracket that takes the wire back to the fire wall then hooks back to the plug. Sometimes the stock clips break, so have some zip ties ready!
