isn't that a sweet security feature though?
i'm sure there are plenty of people who know way better than me how to do it exactly, i could attain a wiring diagram and fax it or scan it up here, comes out crappy sometimes though. basically you need a wire coming from the ignition switch to the fuse box. it needs to be hot only with the ignition in the run position, maybe the start position too but i'm not sure. from the fuse box, i believe it would need to pass through a relay then head back to the pump/sending unit. i would wait for someone who knows 3rd gens to chime in.
