No offense to anyone on here, but IMO, the cowl hood has been played out so much anymore, its a boring design to me anymore. On some cars it looks ok, but unless its being functional, to most cars ( Mustangs, Camaro, Firebirds) it kills the lines, especially on 4th gen where the lines are more rounded and smoothed over. Now to 3rd gen firebirds, if your going with the 90+ front end, it would look fugly with a cowl hood, and buying that ram air style is even worse, I think those hoods have no place on a 3rd gen, and more so on Camaro's. If you really want to go out Mr. Money bags ( I say this cause your doing all this work on the car, and changing the front end to a 90+, when you could of just bought a 90+ Firebird and been done with it a long time ago) I would suggest building your own hood, make it unique, so when you pull into a car meet or show, instead of people saying oh, another cowl hood, you hear, wow look at that Firebird! Don't know how to build one or where to begine, look at other cars, look at their hoods, their designs, and get a general feeling for what might actually look good, and have a few people help you on teh build who have experiance with fabricating with metal/ wood/ fiberglass. You'd be amazed at how easy it is to construct your own hood.
