I work in land surveying. I am mostly in the office doing autocadd drawings, plotting deeds, writing legal descriptions, preparing stake-out for the crews, checking cut sheets. Sometimes I am outside filling in when someone is on vacation or sick. Good job when the economy isn't in the ****ter, but not so good right now. Most of my friends are out of work collecting unemployment and it might be a long cold winter...So much of what we do is tied to housing and/or the ability to secure financing (construction loans, mortgages, commercial real estate, etc.)

So far we are keeping busy enough.
