Some people don't suggest doing this but i have Helicoiled more than three aluminum and cast heads ...at the DEALER!! The Ford tech line told me to this!!....But i did it with out taking the heads off the engines ...there is an actual sparkplug helicoil kit but you have to be careful not the get metal in the engine or you'll destroy the rings ,you have to do it with alot of grease on die
