I actually plan to remove the chrome snap strip and just screw the snaps to the deck lid like the T/A. Oh, and it IS lowered! 1.5 inches, I didn't want to go too low.

Not exactly "aftermarket", it was a factory upgrade that got performed by a company called AutoForm that was sanctioned by GM. You had to order the car like that, it was a $5500 upgrade, which is why not many people did it, seeing as that was more than the actual car cost at the time.
