Ethanol made from switchblade grass and other wasteful weeds yeild much higher volumes of ethanol, with half the energy.
Problem is people like yourself equate ethanol = corn, so commodity markets capitalize off the ignorance and rase prices.
Ethanol made from the multitude of non-corn is much better and a hell of a lot easier to manufacture then corn based.
Better then going to the beach and seeing 3 oil rigs on the horizion.
Third world nations do it, but America sits back and does nothing.
