Went to pick up the Cobalt again last night and I have 2nd thru 5th, but it is still not going into first gear without a fight. They've had the car 8 days now to replace the syncros.

Mechanic #1 tells me that it shifts like butter and he doesn't understand the issue. Mechanic #2 takes it for a test drive and says he can't get it into first either.

They did say that they are going to have a different mechanic on the car. So maybe he'll be able to fix it. If anyone is looking for work there may be an opening at a Chevy dearship in the Hackettstown area in the near future.
