My grandfather was a manager at acme.Thats where those hockey stickers came from.Me and my brother had stacks and stacks of them back in the day.Pretty sure I still have some packed up in a box.I have a nice collection of WHA (World Hockey Association)Pennants from the 70`s.My dad bought me one every time we went to a game.Heres a few for you off the top of my head,Alberta Oilers,New England Whalers,Minnesota fighting saints,Cleveland crusaders,Toronto Toros.I also have a philadelphia Blazers wha inaugural game puck that was given to all fans who attended the home opener. There is a really good story that goes with this. The game was held on 10/13/1972 which ended up being a friday night.Friday the 13th to be exact.Well the game was never played and ended up being cancelled because the ice was bad and had alot of cracks in it.All I remember is people were pissed and everyone was throwing their pucks out onto the ice.It was a sea of red flying thru the air.Im just glad I kept mine. For those that dont remember the WHA the starting goalie for the Blazers was none other than Bernie Parent.I actually talked to Bernie one night at a flyers game about that blazers game from way back in 72
