Since I retired from the lounge I cannot post this there, but anyone feel free to use this info:
I know the job market is rough, and a lot of skilled people are having bad times either with losing work, or not being able to find work. Well, I've been with NJ Transit rail for 21 years, and have never seen a layoff. The company is always expanding, and does a lot of hiring. It is a solid company, with decent pay, and good benefits. So, anyone in need of work might want to go to
WWW.NJTRANSIT.COM and look into submitting a resume. The sky is the limit...I'm now working for a guy who started out as a coach cleaner. And even the coach cleaners make a good buck and get a lot of OT. So, even if a person get their foot in the door they can always move up.
