I have liked all my Camaros a lot, fun cars, easy to work on, and they make ricers pee their pants with a proper exhaust.
Scariest/Most exhilarating ride ever was a race prepped Porsche 911. Perfect 50/50 weight distribution which made for amazing handling and some odd characteristics when control was lost. Seems perfect weight balance means it doesn't under steer, it doesn't over steer, it just loses grip and spins around the center of the car.
In high school a friends father restored an old fuel altered. It didn't have the old insane motor in it, but it had a big block strong enough to make me crap my pants when he let me take it out in the street and whack the gas. Think sitting on center line of country road to seeing the mail box to staring at the telephone pole on the other side of the street faster than you can say panic attack.
There have been a lot of not terrible exciting cars that I have really liked too. My bro's old 1992 Talon was a blast, dying/oil leaking turbo, road race suspension, and very little compression. Once it spooled enough to pressurize the crank case and the engine, man it pulled like a freight train. lol
My bro's WRX is also one of the best long trip cars I have ever driven. We took it out to Indy for the F1 race. Other than not getting great mileage at rush hour traffic speeds, it was very comfortable.
And of course, Rally Cav! My old poop brown 84 Cavalier. 2.0 TBI knocking down 86(rated)HP of raw fury!! Ran inconsistant 19's in the 1320' but still went a lot of rounds, never got stuck, had enough subwoofer to make cd's skip, and it pwned the local trails. By far the most redneck, stupid fun, takes a beating car I have ever owned.
