The Rangers are one of the most putrid organizations in hockey, they tried buying a cup, didn't work, they tried raising the team through prospects, still didn't work. Face it, the organization is a joke and they had one bright spot in '94 when things happened to come together. Every year is "their year", every year is going to be "different" and it's the same outcome and the same lame comeback from their fans. "Well we won the cup in '94, blah blah blah". That's almost 2 decades ago.
Anyway, Flyers fan of course. I don't like the Devils as a team but I respect them as an organization, they flat out know how to build a team that wins. They don't have the biggest names(aside from Marty and Elias they don't really have big names) and they still win.
They're the only team in the East that scares me. The Flyers have played well against the Bruins this year, decent against the Habs...as long as the Pens don't get in(another overrated team) I think we'll see a Flyers/Devils Conf. Finals. The only reason the Pens scare me is because they've owned the Flyers this season. Other than that they're a junk team, one year hit. If Malkenstein was smart he'd ask for a trade and go to a real team.
It's going to take an absolute red hot Flyers goalie to get them over the hump(there's another goaltending controversy brewing YET again in this city

). It should be interesting, as long as the loser Pens and the Rangers are sent to the golf course early I'll be happy.

. The way things are looking neither team will make the playoffs.
