I'd love to help, but we're just finishing up an addition on our house and I have a ton of crap to clean, paint, and install yet. If you need any advice though, feel free to PM, we converted my Monte over to a WC T5 from auto. I'm using mechanical linkage, but if you get the template for the hydraulic cuts in the firewall, the cut in the trans tunnel is cake. Once the flywheel, clutch, and bellhousing are installed, slide the trans into position, mark where the 4 corners of the shifter tower would go through the tunnel, then drop the trans down. Drill the pilot holes, then use a pair of tin snips or a Dremel with a cut-off wheel to play connect-the-dots and cut the hole for the shifter. Make sure you cover the dash, windshield, and interior bits with a towel to protect from flying sparks if you use the Dremel.

Also, you'll be able to re-use your existing driveshaft and crossmember, so that's a plus.
