 im sure this is already your plan, but why not try to unload the t/a before you leave, and not buy the new one yet, then you will have the money from the bird and the overseas pay when you get home to make a nice large downpayment
 |  Agree. The money earned could earn interest (CD account I'd suggest) while you're on tour. By the time you come back, GXPs should be cheaper.
